Our Policies

The following policies have been carefully developed to ensure that Loves and Leashes, LLC can deliver the highest standard of care for both our clients and their pets. We appreciate your trust in our experience and professionalism, and we’ve designed these guidelines with your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind as our top priorities.

  • We service residents of Verrado and Victory only.
     

  • We provide pet sitting services for cats and dogs only at this time.
     

  • The initial Meet & Greet is complimentary and we use this time to get to know you and your pet, as well as to do a thorough walk through of your home and your process for care. We kindly ask that you make sure all pets and people whom you want us to meet are present and that all necessary direction is provided at this visit. If you request a return visit to meet another family member, a new pet, or to do an additional walk through of your home/process, we are happy to oblige this request but please note we will charge our daily drop-in rate of $30 for this additional follow-up visit.
     

  • We require a minimum of two daily drop-ins for any dog left alone for a period of 24 hours with a doggy door. 
     

  • We require a minimum of three daily drop-ins for any dog left alone for a period of 24 hours without a doggy door. 
     

  • We require a minimum of one daily drop-in for any cat left alone for a period of 24 hours.
     

  • All rates listed on our website are based on three pets or less. There is an additional charge of $5 per pet over the amount of three.
     

  • Our earliest available hour for daily drop-ins is 6:30 AM with our latest available hour being 7:30 PM. 

  • ​For liability reasons, we regretfully cannot accept jobs that involve shared pet sitting duties with friends, family, neighbors, or any other external parties. Nor can we accept jobs that schedule any in-home care or maintenance during your time away such as handymen, contractors, housekeepers, repairmen, etc. We must be the only entity with access to your home during the entirety of your absence. We do not want to be held liable for anything that may happen to your pets or home when not in our care. 
     

  • Loves and Leashes is comprised of two team members: Aimée and Ryan. While Aimée is the primary sitter, there is no guarantee which one of us will be providing your service. We may fill in for one another as needed and we may at times come as a pair for added assistance. 
     

  • There is a holiday surcharge fee of $10 extra per drop-in for any service that falls on Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. 
     

  • For payment, we accept personal check, cash, or Zelle. We do not accept Venmo at this time.
